There are many people today who are overstressed and on the lookout for ways to rid themselves of some of their daily stresses. There are many ways you can get some relief from your stress. Exercise for stress relief is probably one of the best since not only can you relieve your stress levels you can also improve other aspects of your health and fitness. We all know that too much stress can cause myriad health issues. Things like heart disease and diabetes are just the tip of the iceberg. We also know that exercise can help prevent many of these same diseases. So just imagine how much healthier you can be if you exercise and lose weight and stress at the same time! It's a two for one. Exercise for stress relief can come in many forms. It is all about getting your body moving and the endorphins flowing. For the most part, it is really just a matter of finding something that you enjoy doing. There really is not a right or wrong answer when you are trying to decide what type of exercise to do. Most of us have heard of the so called "runners high". This occurs when the body releases endorphins, the body's "feel good" hormone, during exercise. But, you don't have to be a runner to get this level of stress relief. You can do virtually any type of exercise you want as long as you don't hurt yourself in the process. And that brings me to another point; if you have been sedentary for a while, have some health issues or are overweight you need to talk to your doctor before you start an exercise program. While it is true that exercise can help you improve your health, you may have to make modifications when you are just starting out or if you have other health issues. If you do not modify the exercises, you may make your situation worse, not better, by injuring yourself when you start exercising. Another thing to keep in mind when you are trying to figure out what type of exercise you should do are your own preferences. Recently I have been hearing a lot about a workout called Zumba. My sister swears by it and has lost several pounds and she loves it. I was skeptical but I tried a class and I have to admit I'm hooked now, too. Not only do you get a great workout it really is fun. "Fun" is not usually the word people associate with working out. Other people love to do yoga. This form of exercise can help you stay limber and flexible but it will also help you relieve stress because it is relaxing, and has a flowing nature. You will also learn proper breathing techniques. And sometimes just hitting something can allow you to blow off steam. If that sounds like something you would like you may want to consider a boxing, kickboxing or martial arts class. As you can see by this short article, there is no shortage of exercise options for you. If you want to go to the gym and hop on a treadmill and lift some weights then that is what you should do. There are so many other great options to exercise for stress relief. The important thing is to find the one that you enjoy enough to stick with it.

Get Scripted: How Scripts Can Drive Traffic to Your Website

Scripts are at the heart of internet operations and yet very few people know how they can be used to increase the amount of traffic they receive. This is probably because most website owners believe that scripts are too complicated and technical to be bothered with. 'Leave it to the experts!' is what most people say. However, don?t miss out on this opportunity. Scripts can be a very effective way to drive traffic to your website and help you promote your business. What are scripts? Most of the stuff you find in the internet are electronic data. They can only be converted to actual materials if they are downloaded, printed or played. Since it will be impossible to manipulate stuff on the internet using manual means, it's important that tasks are electronically run and made automatic. Which makes scripts extremely important. Scripts are tiny programs that automate many of the tasks found in the internet. They rule many of the operations performed here, from keyword input to data entry to the ubiquitous visitor counter. They also perform many of the stuff we take for granted, such as make fonts and colors different, produce sound and motion and allow online interaction. Common script languages are ASP, Perl, PHP, CGI and VisualBasic, among others. How scripts can drive traffic to your website Scripts can be very useful for a site, depending on what they can do. Let's take a commonly used script called the referral script as an example. This script allows your visitors to refer a friend (or two) to you, usually for subscriptions or invites. What it does is it collects information such as the visitor's name, e-mail address and his referral's e-mail address. The script can then be programmed to send a notification such as an e-mail message to the recipient. This is the same script that works each time you receive an e-mail notifying you that a friend of yours referred some sort of internet service or product to you. Since the script was designed to cleverly make use of your friend's name, you will not treat the e-mail message as spam. You'll check it out and if it perks your interest, even click on the link to go to the website where the e-mail came from. As a result, the script caused you to become a visitor to its mother website. This is just one of the many scripts you can use to drive traffic to your site. There are others that function as form generators, link expirators and queue managers. If designed and utilized well, scripts can increase your popularity and give you the type of traffic that will make you the envy of other website owners. How to use scripts to send traffic to your site First of all, learn them. If not, at least understand how they work. You don?t have to create them yourself, though because there are plenty of scripts available online that you can use for free or at a small cost. You simply have to copy the script and paste it on the appropriate location in your web page. Next, choose the script carefully. Not all scripts are created alike and while it might seem tempting to get as many as you can to use in your website, that won't guarantee that you'll drive traffic to your site. Instead, take a good look at your website and determine what type of scripts it will benefit from. For example, it would be useless to use a script that functions as a countdown if your website isn?t doing any time-limited promotions and ad campaigns. Or if you're not using any forms anywhere in your site, why install a script that lets you generate fill-out forms? Choose only those scripts that will make it easy for your visitors to use your site and thus, drive good traffic to it. Otherwise, these little programs will just clutter your web pages.

Does it pass the sniff test? Affiliate Marketers read this to see why you aren't getting conversions.

"Something stinks" I said. One of our members, let's call him Bob,  asked me to take a look at his advertising campaign for his Affiliate marketing program. He'd spent a lot of money on advertising specifically solo ads, he was getting "sign ups" or leads but none were converting. He'd been at if for some time, watching, waiting for some kind of return. He wasn't a newbie either, he'd been doing online marketing for a few years. Finally in frustration he came to me for help.  I am sharing with you what I found, so you can avoid making the same mistakes and know what to look for when you buy advertising to promote your own affiliate marketing links. First, I took a look at his Solo Ad copy. It was well written, got to the point, punchy, benefit - rich and enticed the reader to click for a Special Free Offer. No problems with his Solo Ad copy whatsoever.    Next, I looked at the landing page he was using in his marketing, he had 3 different test versions and was tracking clicks on each. Each landing page (squeeze page) was well written, employed all the essentials of good copy writing, attention getting headlines, call to action, clear benefits, compelling offer, simple sign up / optin form. Then I reviewed his click rate data for each page.   He had a significant number of clicks with an interesting pattern. When the landing page was promoted in his Solo Ad, the clicks came in within seconds and minutes and hour of the posting, then stopped completely. No clicks at all after about an hour of the ad posting. Let me share some experience with you, as a company we spend thousands of dollars on advertising, and I can tell you that when we post an ad, especially to a list, we get leads for the next few days, even the next week. The responses don't abruptly stop within an hour of the posting. The ad may go out in a few minutes, but the recipients don't check / read their emails at the same time.  Next I turned to his list of leads.  The leads when viewed as a long list was revealing. There was a suspicious pattern. They had very similar entry data, first initial only and a last name. Then some with a Name that was exactly the same as the email address. Some were entered in all capital letters, while others had the same style of abbreviations.  Odd. I've been in the affiliate marketing industry for over 25 years, I can tell you one fact about data entry. Numerous people don't enter data in the very same way, and rarely on a list of 100 leads would you see the exact same or very similar data entry pattern. Here's the real eye-opener. When I analyzed if any of these "sign ups" had done anything after they entered their name / email to the optin form, I found that NONE of these leads had taken any further action. By action I mean, they didn't login, they didn't take the next step to "GET" what they had opted in to, or signed up for. Strange. If you are like me, when you "Sign up" for something you usually take (or are required) to take further action to verify the optin, or click to access the provided services, or login to collect on what you were offered and signed up for. Even if you are not like me, you would think that at least SOME of the leads / sign ups would "do" something, not one did. Why?  These leads didn't pass the sniff test.  I broke it to Bob. The sign ups were fake, either generated by a robot, or a software auto click program, or spit out by a randomized database of names / addresses/ spoofed IP addresses.  The leads are delivered in large numbers quickly to make the buyer happy. His reason for no conversion? The leads weren't real people, robots and fake names don't buy.  Finally, I asked Bob, where he had placed the Solo Ads. When he told me the source where he had been posting, the gig was up. Affiliate Marketing Cost Can Be Cheap

If you are thinking about getting involved with affiliate marketing you are probably wondering what affiliate marketing cost you can expect to incur. The good news is that you can start your very own affiliate marketing business for free or very little cost. Yes, I said free. Though I'll be honest, that's not going to get you as far as quickly as if you invested a small amount of money, let me explain why. There are probably thousands of different types of products and services you could become an affiliate for but the real trick is getting customers to your website. You need to get a steady stream of hungry customers to your site if you want to make money. One of the best methods for generating this traffic is by article marketing. That means you write quality, informative articles about the product you are promoting and when someone reads your article they can click on a link at the bottom of your article and be taken to your website. Not only is this method free it also has the added advantage of helping you set yourself up as a trusted expert. The downside to this method is that many of the article directories (websites that will let you submit articles for publication) won't allow you to put an affiliate link in your article, you need your own domain name. There are some ways you can get around that such as putting up pages on sites like Hubpages and Squidoo but that's not as effective as purchasing your own domain and hosting. You can buy your own domain name for less than $11 a year and hosting can be less than $10 a month. So, while you can get involved in affiliate marketing for free, if you've got even a small amount of money it can help you get established a little more quickly. When you're first starting out you'll probably hear a lot about Pay Per Click (PPC). This is a form of advertising that allows you to place ads using topic specific keywords. You will only have to pay for the ad when someone clicks on it and is taken to your site. The amount you have to pay will vary depending on the keyword you're targeting and is determined by a bidding process. PPC has a lot of variables and if you're not careful you can really rack up hundreds or even thousands of dollars. Because of the steep learning curve I recommend anyone who is new to affiliate marketing start with the free marketing methods such as article marketing. They are every bit as effective as PPC but they won't cost you anything. Then, when you are making more money and have the time to learn to do PPC properly, you can expand...if you want to. There is nothing stopping you from starting your own affiliate marketing business. The affiliate marketing cost is very low (or even free) and the potential rewards are virtually unlimited. Just remember, that even though you can start this business with little or no money, if you don't treat it like a business and learn all you can, you'll never make any money either.
